Melanie Martin-Jones
Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, LLP 

Melanie’s practice includes both domestic and foreign protection and transfer of intellectual property as well as general business law. She is experienced in the protection of copyrights, trademarks, and patents. A licensed patent attorney, she assists clients in prosecution, due diligence. and the transfer of intellectual property, including distributor agreements, licensing, and franchising. She counsels clients regarding validity and infringement matters. She has experience in Madrid Protocol and PCT mechanisms for filing foreign trademark and patent applications. Her education and prior work experience allow her to evaluate inventions and prosecute patents in a wide range of technologies.

Melanie works with clients in licensing and software development and has developed online contracting agreements, Internet privacy policies and web site terms of use. She counsels clients in intellectual property matters, infringement actions and business and strategic planning. She assists in the preparation of documents filed in intellectual property actions and examines scope and ownership issues in the sale and purchase of intellectual property.

 Jessica Randolph is co-owner of toobusygals.  toobusygals was started to provide superior services to busy people. We began with  event planning services for businesses, families, and folks who are just too busy. We grew into offering boutique shopping on your time at your place. 

In 2010, the opportunity to take our business model to serve small and women-owned businesses with social media strategies emerged from our extensive networking in the central Ohio business community.

Laura us a restuls-oriented counselor who represents businesses, not-for-profits, government agencies and academic organizations with various legal needs. She handles all facets of real estate transactions, real estate development and economic development for her clients. Laura also handles business and commercial/corporate matters, various governmental law areas and board of revision/board of tax appeals work.

Sara Barton
Freelance Copywriter and Digital Content Specialist 

For 12 years, Sara was a radio news reporter, anchor, talk show producer, and then a morning show co-host. This experience taught her an invaluable lesson in the importance of being able to communicate in a way that is compelling and entertaining, yet informative. After leaving her radio career, she quickly stepped into marketing and advertising.
 
After working as a marketing coordinator in the retail sector, Sara was hired by SOS Video Communications as a Senior Copywriter, where she worked with industry powerhouses, such as ALDI and American Signature, creating barrier-breaking television and radio campaigns. It was during this time that Sara also discovered a passion for blogging and social media. It didn’t take long for her to realize the unbridled power of search engine optimization, social communities, and grassroots marketing.
